Homemade Custard with White Chocolate


This is a very tasty sort of homemade custard! It is a White Chocolate Custard, perfect for fresh fruit pies!

Ingredients:

250ml milk
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
200g white chocolate
2 egg yolks



Preparation time:

 
Prep: 15 min 



Directions:

Chop the white chocolate.


Put the milk into a pan and bring it gently just below boiling point.
 
Meanwhile whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy and add a tablespoon of cornstarch.
 
Pour a ladle of hot milk into the sugar mixture, whisking constantly.
 
Bring the mixture back into the pan and heat gently, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the custard is thickened.


Add the chopped chocolate and continue whisking until completely fused.
